Welcome to my Blog

Well it is hard to say why I am writing a blog, i didn't have a baby or leave the country, but like those events i feel like a lot is changing in my life and i want to share what i am learning, and experiencing, and i figure very few people are going to stumble across this so i can pretty much write whatever i want.
I had a difficult time coming up with a name for my blog (since it isn't really specific to anything) but it hit me today and i know this is the name for me. I picked the word seek because it is one of my favorite words and the word i spend the most time reflecting on and challenging myself with. I believe that what you seek directly affects everything in your life. Because what a person seeks, tells what their heart wants, it tells what they believe, the way they see themselves and others, and it guides them to make decisions that become the course of their life.
So what do i seek?I seek many things, most of the time without even realizing it, but the only one of great worth is when i seek a relationship with Christ. I say it is the only one of worth because everything else that i seek, that i would call good, flows from that relationship. I seek love, hope, justice, relationships, being known, humility, selflessness, and a pure and devoted heart. If you know me at all, you know that on my own a fail big time with all those things, so i have to give Christ the credit for this new found desire in my heart.
